Lining Division

“Lining Division” provides expertise in implementing lining of tanks and application of lamination and re-bottoming of storage tanks using glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) laminates by hand lay-up. Tankline employs expert and well-trained teams who have attended to the lamination of hundreds of tanks. The Epoxy-Lining Division is very familiar with all the criteria for the successful execution of all awarded contracts. Tankline is one of the few approved and is a highly rated ADNOC internal lining applicator of GRE lamination systems.

The process include removal, dehumidification, surface preparation, defect repair (where necessary by grit blasting), caulking, blasting of shell & bottom plates, and application of laminate.

Main scope of activities:

• Contract works for first time application of Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) hand lay-up lamination.
• Inspection & repair of existing laminated surfaces.
• GRE lining removal & reinstatement
• Fireproofing by intumescent coating / passive fireproofing (PFP)
• Installation of membrane lining
